Clarity in every direction.
THE STARTING POINT

Inside an
AI review

  • Understand the workflow
  • Examine the oversight
  • Agree practical priorities
AXIOM / RESPONSIBLE PROGRESS
ALREADY USING AI—OR PREPARING TO INTRODUCE IT?

01Staff are using AI, but visibility or guidance is limited.

02A team wants to introduce a tool and assess readiness and oversight.

03Existing AI use needs a review of responsibilities, controls or benefits.

AI USE & READINESS REVIEW

A clear starting point
for responsible AI.

A focused review of your current or planned AI use, the workflows it affects and the oversight needed. We examine practical value, readiness and risk so you can decide what to improve, what to pilot and what should wait.

Discuss your AI use and readiness

What we examine

  • Current and planned AI use within the agreed scope.
  • A priority workflow and the problem AI is intended to solve.
  • Data handling and tool suitability.
  • Responsibilities and human review.
  • Staff readiness and existing guidance.
  • Gaps and practical next steps.
YOUR NEXT DECISION, MADE CLEARER

What you take away

  1. 01An inventory of AI use within scope.
  2. 02A map of the selected workflow.
  3. 03Findings on readiness, risks and control gaps.
  4. 04Recommendations on whether to proceed, adapt or pause.
  5. 05A prioritised action plan with proposed owners.

We agree the scope, evidence needed and deliverables before starting.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

From everyday use
to clearer oversight.

Routine customer replies, drafted with AI.
One workflow. Three useful perspectives.

CUSTOMER ENQUIRY WORKFLOW

A useful draft. A person in charge.

A team uses AI to draft routine customer replies. First, establish whether assisted drafting addresses a real workflow problem.

  1. 01Customer enquiry
  2. 02AI-assisted draft
  3. 03Person checks & approves
  4. 04Reply sent

Check the current process with the team: where does repetitive drafting create work, and what makes a good reply?

SUPPORT THAT FOLLOWS YOUR PRIORITIES

The right support.
Within a clear scope.

Choose a focused review of AI use, explore opportunities through diagnostics, or discuss a specific need. Neither assessment is a prerequisite for other support.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before we
begin.

Who is the AI Use & Readiness Review for?

Organisations already using AI, including informal staff use, or preparing a specific rollout and needing clearer oversight. We agree a focused scope around your AI use and a priority workflow.

How do diagnostics, a readiness review and a governance audit differ?

AI Diagnostics & Roadmap explores agreed workflows to find and prioritise potential improvements. An AI Use & Readiness Review focuses on existing AI use or a specific planned adoption, assessing readiness, suitability and oversight. Focused AI Governance Audits assess governance arrangements against agreed criteria and evidence. Choose the starting point that fits your need; neither a review nor a diagnostic is compulsory before other support. None provides certification or a guarantee of compliance.

Can you help if staff are already using AI informally?

Yes. The review can help establish which tools are being used within scope, what information is being handled and where guidance, ownership or human checks are needed.

Can you review a planned rollout?

Yes. We can examine the intended workflow, tool suitability, data handling, staff readiness and proposed oversight before you decide whether to proceed, adapt or pause.

What will we receive?

Proposed outputs include an inventory of AI use within scope, a workflow map, findings on readiness and control gaps, recommendations and a prioritised action plan with proposed owners. We agree the scope, evidence, team involvement and deliverables before starting.

Can you help put the recommendations into practice?

We can agree follow-on work on governance processes, training, a bounded pilot or a specific workflow improvement. Technical implementation depends on confirmed capability, scope and delivery arrangements.

Do we have to purchase follow-on support?

No. The engagement can end with the review and action plan. You can decide whether to take the recommendations forward internally, with an existing provider or through separately agreed support from Axiom.
